Can I treat a horse?

So this was the question I asked myself yesterday.......can I treat a horse?  I've been treating horses for many years, but developed severe carpal tunnel in my pregnancy which got progressively worse after little Raif was born especially to my right hand (I am right handed!). I of course worked with chiropractic acupuncture, massage, splinting, ice, heat, injections and anything else I could find, but I had to accept that the only outcome for this would be surgery.......the one thing I didn't want!

A little thank you!

So as you may or may not be aware I have been off recently on maternity leave but also a little longer than anticipated due to having to have carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand.  Its so frustrating when you want to get back to work but the tools of your trade are not up to the job so you have to keep telling people you are unavailable. Fast forward to today and I am back in people clinic and back in small animal clinic but the hand is not quite ready for the horses yet! 

So as a huge thank you for your patience I have put together a couple of offers for November!

So when I come in to clinic, I come in with the intention of hopefully making a difference to someone else's life.  I hope that the knowledge and skills I have learnt over the years will be what the patient's need that day.  However sometimes its a role reversal when you least expect it!
